Australia: Princess Parrot Expedition
Targeting this beautiful species for international birders effectively requires a twitch when the parrots are found breeding in an accessible location (which occurs once every 10 years or so). Let us know if you want to be placed on the waitlist and contacted when this occurs! Usually the jumping-off point for a Princess Parrot trip would be Alice Springs, where it is quite easy to see some nice species like Spinifex Pigeon, Dusky Grasswren, Grey Honeyeater, Bourke's Parrot, and Painted Firetail.
